Barcodes

The Barcodes section is used for defining price embedded barcodes.

Add a New Barcode Template

1. Click +Add.
2. Template Name - Name the template; typically corresponds with the type of barcode
3. Barcode Length - Enter the length of the barcode
4. Prefix - Enter the 1 digit identifier of the barcode that identifies which template to use
   Note: You only need to use a prefix if you define 2 templates of the same length
5. PLU Start - Enter the character where the PLU starts
6. PLU Length - Enter the length of the price that is embedded within the barcode
7. Price Start - Enter where the price will start in the barcode.
   Note: If you are not going to use the embedded barcodes, this area should be left blank. 
8. Price Length - Enter the length of the price that is embedded within the barcode.
   Note: If you are not going to use the embedded barcodes, this area should be left blank.
