  1. Enter the Internet web page for your credit card processor in the Processor Portal Web Page field.
  2. Use the arrows to enter the Connect Timeout in number of seconds that the system will wait when trying to connect to the merchant to process the credit card.
  3. Use the arrows to enter the Response Timeout in number of seconds that the system will wait when receiving a response from a merchant after the credit card information is sent.
  4. Check the Ask for override "dupecreditcard" option box to prompt an override if the same credit card is used more than once on the same operation date.
  5. Check the Enable OFFLINE storing option box to allow checks to be stored within the Offline Checks section of SoftTouch if the system cannot communicate with the credit card processor during cashout.
