How can I set up adjustments?

If you would like to have adjustments like discounts, incentives, happy hour, or coupons, this is where you will go to set it up:

BackOffice -> Adjustments

  1. Under the General tab, set up the maximum number of adjustments allowed on a check. (-1 is unlimited).
  2. Click ✓Save when done.
  3. Next, go to the Adjustments tab.
  4. Click on the +Add button.
  5. Enter in the name, button name, and how you would like it to read on the check.
  6. Under Adjustment Type, you will need to choose from one of the options from the drop-down box: discount, surcharge, comp, (x) for 1.
  7. Unless you choose (x) for 1, leave the box next to this blank. If you click on (x) for 1, this is like a 2 for 1, or a 3 for 1. The box next to this is where you will enter in your (x) for 1.
  8. Below this, you will either be entering an Amount $ or a Percentage %
  9. Next, under Adjustment Group choose from one of the drop-downs. If you choose Item Adjustment click, click here for more help/information.
  10. You can set up the adjustment based on your customers, their visits or how many points they have.
  11. Choose a Schedule from the drop-down box.
  12. Make sure all the check marks on the right side are enabled to your liking.
  13. Click ✓Save when done.
