About Modifiers

Modifiers are everything that you can customize your items with (e.g. salad dressing, pizza toppings, etc.).

Types of Modifiers

• Automatic - options automatically pop up when a particular item is chosen in SoftTouch (e.g. dressing choice for a salad)
• Manual - a server needs to highlight the item and press the Modify button for the modifiers to show (e.g. no pickles on a burger)

Examples of Modifiers

• NO Modifiers - when a customer wants to exclude something that comes with ordered item
• ADD Modifiers - when a customer wants to add something that does not come with ordered item (additional price can be added)
• XTRA Modifiers - when a customer wants more of something that already comes with ordered item (additional price can be added)
• SUBSTITUTE Modifiers - when a customer wants something else instead of what comes with ordered item
• INSTRUCTION Modifiers - when a customer makes a special request
